Esri® Federal Partner Event - Good Food, Friends, and Functionality on Display

Esri Federal Partner Event

I attended the Esri Federal Partner Meeting last evening hosted at Esri’s Arlington, VA Development Center. It served as an excellent opportunity to hear about the latest and greatest product release details, as well as to network with my federal partner colleagues.

Jeff Peters, Director of Global Business Development for the National Government Sector, and Heather Whitney, a Partner Executive, welcomed the large group of business partner representatives to the event. After a briefing on Esri’s national government priorities, we heard from Bill Sheridan, an Esri federal account manager, about how the evolving web GIS pattern is assisting a large federal agency to migrate from its legacy System of Record to a System of Insight.

Jo Farley from Esri gave an exciting overview regarding the upcoming ArcGIS 10.5 release, along with some enticing sneak peaks at new capabilities. Afterwards, the business partner representatives networked through facilitated large-to-small business match-making sessions and organically over some superb hors d'oeuvres and drinks.

Thank you Esri for a worthwhile and productive event!
