GeoDecisions Partners with the US Marine Corps for Toys for Tots

At GeoDecisions, we are committed to improving our world – not only through our work but also through donations and partnerships with like-minded organizations. We constantly seek opportunities to serve our communities and leave them better than we found them.

One of the most critical elements of community involvement is helping children. We cannot think of a better way to help our future than by continuing our support and participation in the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.

Since its inception in 1947, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation’s mission has been to collect new, unwrapped toys to provide hope and bring the joy of the holiday season to economically disadvantaged children.

As a technology company, we push boundaries to create efficiencies. Our passion for technology permeates GeoDecisions, which extends to holding a virtual Toys for Tots fundraiser.

To promote teamwork and collective support, GeoDecisions rallied our troops with a common mission and created a fundraiser. We understand technology helps non-profit organizations strengthen donor relationships by bridging technological tools with human expertise. That’s why this year, we supported these efforts by taking our fundraiser virtual to continue our ongoing support of Toys for Tots.

Using technology to increase our financial support to the Toys for Tots program.

The virtual fundraiser increased our total donations by:

  • Allowing employees to donate money in lieu of actual toys.

  • Creating administrative efficiencies by implementing technology.

  • Increasing our reach by creating an avenue for employees who are not near an office to participate.

Through the generous donations of our employees across North America, we raised more than $1,500. On average, 97% of donations go directly to the Toys for Tots mission. Employees could increase their donations to cover the incurred payment processing fees.

We are honored to participate in the Toys for Tots program and help the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation achieve their objectives to:

  • Help less fortunate children.

  • Play an active role in childhood development.

  • Unite communities around a common cause.
